Promotion Terms

These Promotion Terms apply to all competitions, discounts, referral programs, giveaways, and other promotional offers (collectively, “Promotions”) made available by Archies Footwear LLC (“Archies Footwear,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By participating in, accessing, or redeeming any Promotion listed below, you agree to be bound by these Promotion Terms, our Terms of Use & Sale, and our Privacy Policy, each of which is incorporated herein by reference. Additional terms may apply to specific Promotions and, in the event of any inconsistency, those additional terms will control to the extent necessary to resolve the inconsistency.

Monthly Post Purchase Survey Competition - Official Rules 

Please note that for items marked as clearance, returns or exchanges will only available for a store credit only to the value of the item at the time of purchase. For any warranty claims on clearance items a replacement item in any available colour-way equal to the non discounted price will be available. Please note that there is no free shipping for clearance items.

Eligibility
The competition is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. 

How to Enter
To enter, participants must:

1. Make a purchase on archiesfootwear.com during the Competition Period;
   

2. Complete the Post-Purchase Survey provided after their purchase; and
   

3. Answer the following question in 50 words or less:
   “Tell us one thing you’d love to see from Archies Footwear in the future.”
   

Participants may submit one (1) entry per purchase during the Competition Period. Responses must adhere to the word limit and be the participant’s original work.

Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged based on the following criteria: Creativity (50%), Relevance to the question (30%), Clarity of expression (20%)

The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome. Entries that exceed the word limit, contain inappropriate content, or do not address the question will be disqualified.

Prize Details
One (1) winner will receive one (1) pair of Arch Support Flip Flops in the winner’s choice of color and size, to the value of $40 (USD), plus shipping.

The prize:

• Must be redeemed within ten (10) business days from the date of the winner's notification.
  

• Cannot be exchanged for cash or any other product.
  

• Is subject to availability of the selected color and size at the time of redemption. If the selected color or size is unavailable, the Sponsor will offer alternative options of equal or lesser value.
  

Competition Period
The competition runs monthly, with each Competition Period starting at 12:01am EST on the first calendar day of the month and closing at 11:59pm EST on the last calendar day of the same month.

Winner Selection
The winner will be selected by a panel of judges based on the stated judging criteria. Judging will take place at Level 1, 101 Moray Street, South Melbourne, Australia, at 3:00pm AEDT on the first business day of the following month.

The winner will be notified via email within five (5) business days of judging. If the winner does not claim the prize within the redemption timeframe, the Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

Delivery of Prize
The prize will be shipped to the winner’s nominated address within the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Delivery is included as part of the prize.

Privacy
Personal information collected through this competition is handled in accordance with Archies Footwear’s Privacy Policy, available here. By entering the competition, entrants consent to their personal information being used for the purpose of administering the competition and, where agreed, for marketing communications. Entrants located in California have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). For more information, refer to our Privacy Policy.

Liability
The Sponsor is not responsible for:

• Lost, delayed, or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions or network issues.
  

• Any tax liability incurred by the winner.
  

• Any claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising from participation in the competition or use of the prize.
  

The Sponsor’s decision regarding any aspect of this competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Governing Law
This competition is governed by the laws of the State of California. All disputes arising from this competition will be resolved in accordance with the laws of California, and entrants agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of California.

Terms & Conditions: Archies Footwear x Polaroid Instagram Competition  

1. Sponsor/Promoter 

The Sponsor/Promoter is Archies Footwear Pty Ltd (ABN 91 164 576 854) of Level 2, 456 High Street, Echuca VIC 3564, Australia (“Archies”, “we”, “us”, “our”, the “Sponsor”). 

2. Competition Period 

3. Eligibility 

3.1 Entry is open to individual legal residents of Australia, the United States of America (50 states and District of Columbia only), and the United Kingdom, who are 18 years or older at the time of entry ("Eligible Entrant"). 3.2. The competition is void where prohibited by law. 

3.3. Employees and contractors of Archies or Polaroid, and their immediate families are not eligible. 3.4. For Instagram entries, entrants must hold a valid public Instagram account that allows us to view the entry and contact the entrant via direct message. Private accounts may prevent us from verifying your entry. 3.5 It is your responsibility to ensure that your participation in this Competition is lawful in your country, state, province or territory of residence. The Sponsor may disqualify any entrant where local laws would make the Competition or the award of the Prize unlawful. 

4. How to Enter (No Purchase Necessary) 

4.1. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. 

4.2. To enter via Instagram during the Competition Period, an Eligible Entrant must, using their own Instagram account: 

a) Follow the official @archiesfootwear account on Instagram; 

b) Follow the official @polaroid account on Instagram; and 

(c) Comment describing your ultimate "Forever Summer" moment – where would you be, what would you be doing, and why does it capture the feeling of endless summer? Tag the friend who'd join you. 

4.3 Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate, automated or spam entries may be disqualified. 

4.4 Entrants must only tag a person they genuinely know and who is happy to be tagged. Entries that tag people the entrant does not know, or that tag people without their consent, may be disqualified and their comment deleted by the Sponsor. 

4.5 Entries must be your own original work and must not infringe any third-party rights. 

4.6. The Sponsor may, in its reasonable judgment, disqualify any entry that is incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, automated, uses multiple accounts or aliases, violates platform rules, or otherwise breaches these Terms or applicable law.

5. Judging & Winner Determination – A Game of Skill 

5.1 This Competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in selecting winner(s). 

5.2 Eligible entries will first be reviewed by the Sponsor to confirm compliance with these Terms (including eligibility, entry mechanic, and no duplicate/spam entries). A shortlist of compliant entries will be prepared for judging. 

5.3 The shortlisted entries will be judged by an independent judge appointed by the Sponsor. The judge is independent of the Sponsor and Polaroid, and plays no role in preparing the shortlist under clause 5.2. The judge's name will be made available on request. 

5.4 Entries will be judged against the following criteria (the "Judging Criteria"): 

● Creativity – originality of the idea or scenario described including evidence of genuine thought and detail in the entry; 

● Relevance – connection to the Competition theme and both the Archies and Polaroid brands; 5.5 All eligible entries will be judged on or about 18/08/2026-19/08/2026. 

5.6 The judge's decisions are based on the Judging Criteria, made in good faith, and are final and binding in all matters relating to this Competition, subject to any review required by applicable law. 

6. Prize Details 

6.1 There are six (6) prize packs to be won. Each winner will receive: 

● Two (2) pairs of Archies Flip Flops, selected by the winner from either the Core range or the Crystal Collection (or one of each), subject to availability; and 

● One (1) Polaroid Go Generation 3 Starter Set comprising Polaroid Go Generation 3 - Light Blue and Polaroid Go Color Film Double Pack. 

6.2 The Prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of credit, unless required by law. If the advertised Prize (or a part of it) becomes unavailable due to reasons beyond the Sponsor's control, the Sponsor may substitute a prize of comparable nature and equal or greater value, subject to any applicable laws and regulatory approval (if required). 

6.3 Total number of prize recipients: six (6). 

6.4 Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV): up to the following amounts per winner (based on two Crystal Collection pairs plus one Polaroid Go Generation 3 Starter Set):

● US: up to USD $284 

● UK: up to GBP £178.98 

6.5 Value of individual items by region:

6.6 Polaroid will supply the Polaroid Go Generation 3 Starter Set component of the Prize to the Sponsor in bulk ahead of winner selection. The Sponsor will then ship both the Archies Flip Flops and the Polaroid Go Generation 3 Starter Set directly to each winner's nominated postal address within 30 days of winner verification, unless a longer period is reasonably required due to circumstances beyond the Sponsor's control. The Sponsor is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage occurring during shipment once the Prize has left the Sponsor's possession. 

6.7 The Sponsor is not responsible for any costs, fees, taxes, charges or other losses incurred by the winner in redeeming or using the Prize. 

7. Winner Notification & Verification 

7.1. The provisional winners will be notified within 5 business days via direct message from the official @archiesfootwear account on the platform used to enter. 

7.2. To claim the Prize, the provisional winners must respond to the notification within 5 days of the Sponsor sending the notification and may be required to provide satisfactory proof of identity, age and residency/address for shipping purposes. 

7.3 If a winner does not respond within the required time, is ineligible, or cannot be contacted, we may award the prize to the next highest-scoring entry. 

7.4 In accordance with the UK CAP Code, the Sponsor will, for a period of three (3) months after the Competition closing date, make available the surname and county of each winner resident in the United Kingdom on request by emailing customerservice@archiesfootwear.com.au. A winner may object to their surname and county being made available, or may request that the extent of the information shared be reduced, by contacting the Sponsor at the same address. If a winner objects, the Sponsor will not publish or make available that information, but will 

still provide it to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to demonstrate that the Competition was properly administered and the prizes awarded. 

8. Publicity & Content Licence 

8.1 In consideration of the promoter providing the entrant with the opportunity to enter the competition (the sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged), you hereby grant Archies a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, fee-free and royalty-free licence (with the right to sublicense) to use (including modify and adapt),

reproduce, publish and communicate your entry content (including your handle and comment) in any form for marketing and promotional purposes and relating to the Archies or Polaroid brands. 

8.2 To the full extent permitted by applicable law, each entrant irrevocably and unconditionally waives all moral rights, "droits moraux," or similar personal rights they may have under the laws of any jurisdiction worldwide in connection with the entry content. Where a total waiver of moral rights is not permitted by local law, the entrant hereby provides their unconditional, irrevocable, and written consent to the Sponsor and its licensees to perform any of the following acts or omissions, which might otherwise constitute an infringement of the entrant's moral rights: 

 (a) Utilising, publishing, displaying, or reproducing the entry content without any attribution of authorship or credit to the entrant; 

 (b) Editing, modifying, condensing, abridging, translating, formatting, adding text or visual graphics to, or combining the entry content with other materials, provided such modifications do not damage the creator's professional reputation or honour; and 

 (c) Changing the context or platform in which the entry content is displayed, including but not limited to digital ads, print media, websites, and third-party social channels. 

8.2 You warrant that you are the creator of your entry, and that your entry is original (including that AI was not used in generating your response), is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, does not infringe any third-party rights, and that you have the right to grant the right to grant the licenses/waivers set out in these terms and conditions and in particular clause 8. 

9. Privacy & Data Protection 

9.1 Archies will collect and use your personal information only for the purpose of administering the competition and exercising its rights and obligations as set out in these terms and conditions (as well as relevant laws), including verifying eligibility, publishing and contacting the winner(s) and delivering the prize(s). 

9.2 For more information on how we handle personal information and your rights under applicable privacy laws (including UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA and Australian Privacy Act), please refer to the Privacy Policy relevant to your region:

9.3 Where UK GDPR applies, Archies is the data controller and processes personal data on the legal bases of performing these Terms and our legitimate interests in administering and promoting the competition. 

10. Limitation of Liability 

10.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Sponsor and its related entities, directors, officers, employees and agents are not liable for any: 

(a) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete or illegible entries; 

(b) any error, omission, interruption or delay in operation or transmission; 

(c) communications line failures or network, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind;

(d) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Competition; or (e) technical or printing errors in any materials associated with the Competition. 

10.2. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability of the Sponsor that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law, including but not limited to liability for: 

(a) death or personal injury caused by the Sponsor’s negligence; 

(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; 

(c) gross negligence or wilful misconduct; or 

(d) any non-excludable statutory consumer guarantees or rights (for example, under the Australian Consumer Law or similar consumer protection laws in the UK and US). 

11. Platform Release & Compliance 

11.1 This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc. You are providing your information to the Sponsor, not to these platforms. 

11.2. By participating, you fully release Instagram and its parent company and affiliates from any liability arising out of or in connection with this Competition, to the extent permitted by law. 

11.3. You must comply with all applicable platform terms of service, community guidelines and rules when participating. 

12. General 

12.1 The Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law and any necessary regulatory approvals, to modify, suspend or terminate the Competition if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond its reasonable control materially impairs the integrity, fairness or proper functioning of the Competition. Where this occurs, the Sponsor will use reasonable efforts to notify entrants and may select a winner from eligible entries received up to the date of suspension, where fair and lawful to do so. 

12.2 These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection or other non-waivable rights that apply in your country, state or province of residence. To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and such mandatory local laws, the local laws will prevail for residents of that jurisdiction. 

12.3 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
