For our patients with low back pain, hip and knee complaints or foot problems such as plantar fasciitis it is imperative that they have supportive footwear so that they don't aggravate their condition.  Archies are the perfect solution for those patients in the warmer months.

Some client feedback we have had is "It's nice to see non clunky, fashionable orthotic thongs for a change” and "It has been great to get thongs i can wear all day”.

The Archies thongs are so comfortable, helps our clients backs, feet, knees and leg pain. Once they start wearing them they don’t want to wear anything else.

As a podiatrist, I regularly recommend Archies as a great solution for my patients who feel better to be wearing ‘something’ on their feet around the home or on the weekends when they don’t want to be wearing their ‘podiatry approved’ shoes + orthoses. Archies are a great addition to their wardrobe as a ‘sometimes’ shoe or their ‘go to shoe’ if they love to wear a thong. Younger patients and older patients alike love that their Archies provide them with support, but don’t look like they have support. I have patients who normally wear ‘podiatry approved’ shoes + orthoses who have gone on holidays and swear that whilst on holidays their feet felt fabulous with no pain at all, despite all the walking, shopping and beach time that they spent in their Archies. Patients are super happy with how good they look, the colour options available, the price and no potential ‘plugger’ blow-outs.

At our practice we also fit custom made orthotics and we were constantly telling our patients to stay away from traditional thongs as they provided no support and would only exacerbate their symptoms and that they should stick wearing their shoes and orthotics. However, in the region that we live in this wasn’t a logical solution and we had to find something that our patients could wear that allowed their feet to breath yet provide support and comfort. This is where we found the Archies thongs and with the conjunction of our orthotics they are a great team and are providing us with exceptional results. They give the patient a break from wearing their shoes all day and they can slip into them and they are still receiving the exceptional support that their orthotics would give. Here at Mallee Physio we have had a great reaction to the stocking of Archies thongs in our practice over the past 12 months with a vast array of people within the region making the switch to Archies.  With word of mouth quickly spreading the fact that these thongs are the comfiest piece of footwear going around we are struggling to keep up with the demand of them!
